The third book in the Matched trilogy!

Penguin between the lines just revealed the cover of the first book in Ally Condie's Matched trilogy.
Isn't it beautiful? Though I loved the red and the green one as well I think this is even prettier.

You don't know what I`m talking about? Here is the Summary of the first book Matched, taken from Goodreads:

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate... until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

Reached will be the third and final book and it will be published on November 13th.
What do you think about the new cover?

My Crush is a literary character KJ style Part 1

Well I’ve been on Sparklife a lot lately, since I’m in the middle of learning form y english exam in two weeks. And I found a lot of those “My Crush is a literary/fictional character” and they’re quite funny and entertaining.
You can find most of the English classic literature in those posts so I found, why not do something like this for German classics? You may not know them but I can tell you these guys are definitely swoon worthy:

  1. Marquise d’Posa: He comes to life between the pages of Friedrich Schillers Don Karlos. He is not just the best friend of the protagonist but he also fights for what he wants more. And he’s not an egoist fighting for his own sake, he’s fighting for the ordinary people and their right to think for themselves. So in Spain somewhere around 1560 he speaks against the king and does not even fear the inquisition.

  1. Leonce:(Don't ask me, how that name is pronounced ;) The Protagonist of Georg Büchners Leonoce and Lena is a brooding prince who stands up against his father. He wants to be able to marry who ever he wishes and not who his father sees fit for him. That guy’s fighting for love! What more do girls like us want?

  1. Mephisto: And here comes the devil himself! In Johann Wolfgang von Goethes Faust this funny and scheming man has a deal with Doctor Faust. If Mephisto works for Faust in this world and shows him the good sides of life, Faust will work for him in the next world. Though Mephistos attempts don’t always work out as planned (thanks to Gretchen!) he is mysterious and a bad boy with every ounce of his body.

  1. Lukas Leander: Well, actually he is not a classical character, but I started crushing on him immediately when we “met” the first time. I was twelve and he came to my mind as soon as I thought of “literary crush material”. Lukas is the younger brother of Laura which has her own book series by Peter Freund. He is intelligent and a true nerd. So honestly why should I not fall for a blond guy like him?
  1. Dustfinger: The mysterious Dustfinger from Cornelia Funke’s Inkheart trilogy is not sure on which side he stands. And he is not classical, too. But let’s face it: I don’t care at all. He’s a loner, he can do magic tricks with fire, he’d do everything for the woman he loves and for God’s sake he has a horned mader named Gwin. (I would marry him for his pet, which is like the cutest little thing ever!) Dustfinger is hot you can’t deny it!

So these are the five most crushable German literary guys. You know one of them? Who are your literary crushes? And don’t forget to visit Sparklife, since it has the best blog series you can possible think of!
I hope I’ll have time to post another list like this, with more “global” characters :D But I do believe all those books have been translated into English. So maybe you agree with me here J
Best wishes and a lot of great book characters too crush on
