Well, exams are finally over and I'm having more free time. So I thought I'll start with updating this blog, which seems like a impossible task, since a lot happened while I was away. And since I'm still busy with preparing for university (and future *scared*) and I'm still working on the German version of this site.
We're doing the "five news you can use"- thing again. And since so much went down we are concentrating a little on covers and releases.
1. There are movie news!! The german publisher Arena released the news that the movie based on Kerstin Gier's novel Ruby Red will be released on March 14, 2013.

"Gwyneth Shepherd's sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth, who in the middle of class takes a sudden spin to a different era!

Ruby Red is the start of a trilogy and was published in English by Henry Holt & Co. The Protagonists Gwendolyn and Gideon will be played by Maria Ehrich und Jannis Niewöhner (small picture).
If the movie will be released in English as well is yet to be decided.

2. Alyson Noel, author of The Immortals series releases new books:
Her long anticipated first novel in the Soul Seekers series, Fated,was released in May. It will be followed by the second book in the series whose cover was released by the author a few days ago. Take a look:
Well it is said to be just a sneek peak on the actual cover, but it looks as amazing as the other ones before.Echowill be released on November 13, 2012.

3. Richelle Mead is another author that has been busy with tour dates and book releases during the last month. The Golden Lily, second book in her Vampire Academy spin off series Bloodlines, was published somewhere around last month and the next book in the series wil be called Inkspell.
It is not yet released how many books will follow in this series.
4. Tahereh Mafi revealed a whole bunch of new covers, since the Shatter Me series was completely new designed. I'm not posting every single one, just telling you where to find them and a lot of information on the series. Just click here, and visit the official author's blog.
