That's a good one ;) I received a book this week, that is a little bit older. It was published in 2008 and has the subtitle "Forbidden memories of the last son of the Nibelung"
I'm a huge fan of the Nibelungen legends so I hope this book is not going to disappoint me (not to mention that the author grew up not far away from my home) :
The English translation of the title would be "The mists of the morning" unfortunately the description is in German, so not all of you will understand a lot. Quick summary: A retelling of the old Nibelungensong from the viewpoint of the last living Nibelung.
As soon as I read it I'm going to post a review in this blog (and a German review on my site) to make sure you understand what's it about and if you should look out for English versions. I haven't found one yet, but who knows what the future brings...
